About MOTORDAT

WHY MOTORDAT EXISTS.

MOTORDAT was built by people who have spent their careers in automotive retail and automotive technology. We know what it is like to work in a dealership, to manage a network and to sit across the table from software vendors whose products look impressive in a demo but fall apart in the reality of a busy sales floor. We started MOTORDAT because we believed we could do it differently, and because we had the industry knowledge to do it properly.

The automotive software market has long been dominated by large, expensive, inflexible platforms that were built decades ago and have been patched and extended ever since. Dealers and manufacturers have often had little choice but to use them, despite the frustrations. We set out to change that, building a modern, modular platform from the ground up that genuinely reflects how automotive businesses actually work.

What has made MOTORDAT different from the start is not just the technology. It is the understanding we bring to every conversation, every product decision and every piece of development we do. We understand the tension between manufacturers and their retailer networks. We understand how dealer groups think, how independent dealers operate and what both need from their software. That understanding is embedded in everything we build, and it is why our customers stay with us.
